NEW YORK, NY – A 35-year-old man’s vehicle was shot multiple times, and he was struck once while driving along Myrtle Avenue in Bushwick on Sunday.
Detectives with the 83rd Precinct in Brooklyn are now asking the public to assist in identifying the suspect, who were caught on a nearby video surveillance camera.
According to the NYPD, at around 2:15 am, multiple unidentified male individuals were walking in front of 1454 Myrtle Avenue when one of the male individuals in the group displayed a firearm and discharged rounds at a vehicle.
“A 35-year-old male victim operating the vehicle was struck in the right arm,” police said today. “The four individuals in the group then fled in a black Toyota Camry to parts unknown.”
Several others fled on foot. The injured victim was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Woodhull and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
