21-year-old shot and killed in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – Gunfire erupted Wednesday night in Tremont neighborhood of the Bronx. In the aftermath, a 21-year-old male was found shot multiple times.

Police with the city’s 46th Precinct responded to the area of 273 East176th Street in the Bronx after multiple 911 calls regarding gunfire in the neighborhood.

Upon their arrival, police officers observed a 21-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was taken by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made and no suspect information was released at this time. The man’s identity was not released pending notification of first of kin.
