COLUMBUS, OH – Nalah Jackson, the suspect arrested on Thursday after kidnapping twin five-month-old boys from Columbus days earlier, has been charged with battery of bodily waste by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
As a result of public tips, officers were able to locate the 24-year-old suspect in Indianapolis three days after she stole the vehicle outside a Donatos Pizza in the Short North section of Columbus, which resulted in statewide Amber Alerts and BOLO alerts in five neighboring states.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department discovered Jason Thomass inside a stolen vehicle parked outside a Papa Johns restaurant in Indianapolis hours after the Amber Alert was issued on Tuesday. The other missing twin was discovered in a parking lot at Dayton International Airport hours after the Amber Alert was issued.
“Jackson is currently awaiting to be extradited back to Columbus, Ohio where she is also facing two counts of kidnapping in connection to this case. The investigation is still ongoing between the Columbus Division of Police, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Dayton Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcemet agencies,” the Columbus Police Department announced today.
