JERSEY CITY- A Jersey City music teacher was arrested after it was revealed that he allegedly committed multiple sexual assaults against a student from the time he was 14 years old.

David Musial, 62, a private music instructor, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and other related charges this week.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, the crimes occurred over the span of four years from 2018 and 2022 when the victim was between the ages of 14 and 18 years old. The assaults occurred in Musial’s music studio on River Drive South in Jersey City.

 He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance. The State has filed a detention motion, which is tentatively scheduled to be heard on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
