NEW YORK, NY – A man was stabbed multiple times and killed Thursday night while exiting a subway train in New York City. According to the New York City Police Department, the incident happened at around 9 p.m. in the area of 176th Street and Jerome Avenue in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx.
As the man exited the Northbound 4 train, a suspect approached him and began attacking him. The unprovoked attack left the victim with stab wounds in the back and chest.
The victim, whose name was not released by police, was rushed to Saint Barnabas hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
Police described the suspect as a male with a dark complexion, roughly 5 ft 11 in tall, and wearing a dark hoodie with Nike sneakers. However, the suspect was able to flee before police arrival.
