Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Two male suspects robbed a victim at gunpoint and took his 2021 Mercedes Benz in the 800 block of South 17th Street. One suspect has been identified.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying his accomplice, who is described as a Black man in his thirties, 6-ft. tall, extremely thin, with a light-to-medium complexion, full beard and dread locs. He was wearing a reddish hooded sweater, black Adidas sweatpants, and gray sneakers.
