MTA Bus Driver Assaulted in Alphabet City
NEW YORK CITY - MTA Bus Route x7 on Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street, New York City, USA.

New York, NY-A 24-year-old man has been arrested after assaulting a Manhattan MTA bus driver. The New York City Police Department said a passenger on the M14d bus in Alphabet City was talking to a customer while the vehicle was waiting at the corner of 14th Street and Avenue A.  

At that time, a 24 year old man went up to the driver and punch him in the face.

Police said the attack happened at around 8:10 a.m. on Saturday. the MTA bus driver reported suffering pain but refused medical attention at the scene.

The suspect attempted to enter a building at 433 East 13th Street but was stopped by police before he could get inside the building.

The name of the suspect has not been released. police have not said what charges are filed against the man
