Pittsburgh, PA-The Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating a string of commercial burglaries and break-ins that occurred in the overnight hours in Shadyside between August 25th and August 26th of this year.
Police said three businesses in the 800 block of South Aiken Street were broken into and vandalized during that. According to police, two of those businesses had their front glass doors smashed and even stolen. a 3rd business had damage in the front door but no entry was made by the suspects.
One business in the 700 block of Copeland Street had its door shattered, items missing, and cash stolen from the register, while a fifth business in the 5400 block of Walnut Street also had its glass door broken and cash register drawer stolen.
