New York, NY- The New York City Police Department is searching for a group of four men who brutally assaulted and robbed a man in the Bronx Monday night. According to police, the 67-year-old was walking home from work and assaulted outside of a pizza shop on 151st Street in the Melrose section of New York City by a group of men.
The group of men beat the victim and pushed him to the ground, kicking and punching him. Before fleeing the scene, the suspects stole the victim’s backpack and $300 in cash.
They left him bleeding on the ground as they left the scene. As the suspects began to flee, the victim attempted to stand up. After noticing he was getting up, the suspects once again attacked the man.
The New York City Police Department said the suspects were young men in their teens and 20s and described as having dark complexions.
