Seven People Shot, One Killed in Mass Shooting in Baltimore in Broad Daylight

BALTIMORE, MD – Seven people were shot in a mass shooting that took place as Baltimore is reeling from rising inner-city gun violence.

According to police, seven people were shot and one died on Wednesday at approximately 12:24 p.m. at Shirley and Park Heights Avenues.

Police detectives are now searching for a silver 2016 Lexus CT200H in which the suspects fled in after the shooting.

“On August 24, 2022, at approximately 12:24 p.m., Northwest District officers were summoned to the intersection of Shirley Avenue and Park Heights Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned multiple victims were shot at the location. Two victims were located at the scene. Five victims suffering from gunshot wounds walked into area hospitals seeking treatment,” police aid in their initial report yesterday.

One victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by medical personnel. All of the victims are adult males. Witnesses reported that the suspect vehicle is a 4-door sliver Lexus sedan.
