Man Pulled Gun on Employee in Columbus Convenience Store

COLUMBUS, OH – Police are searching for a man who pulled a gun on a convenience store clerk last week in Columbus.

According to police, on August 16, at 10:03 a.m., a male suspect entered a business in the 1400 block of East Livingston Avenue and purchased an item, then began to leave the business.

“Before exiting, the suspect returned to the sales counter and pulled a black pistol from an over-the-shoulder satchel, chambered a round of ammunition, and pointed the pistol at the employee. The suspect then fled the business on foot,” police said. “The suspect is described as a male white, 18-25 years of age, black hair, slim build, approximately 5’10”, 150 pounds.”
