COLUMBUS, OH – A woman who was standing outside her car talking to another person watched as her car was robbed just a few feet away from where she was standing.
According to the Columbus Police Department, on Monday, the victim was standing outside of her car talking with someone in the 600 block of Reynolds Avenue when the suspect got into the vehicle and started to drive away.
“The victim attempted to get the suspect out of the car but was knocked down as the suspect drove off,” police reported. “It appears the suspect then drove to a nearby market and attempted to use multiple cards belonging to the victim. Those cards were denied, but the suspect was seen on surveillance video attempting to use them.”
