HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.

“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Robbery
Columbia, 21046: 
Harris Teeter, 8600 block of Guilford Road, Aug. 17 11:51 a.m.
A store employee reported that when he confronted two male suspects who had stolen merchandise, one of the suspects assaulted him before both fled. No serious injuries were reported.  

Commercial burglary
Glenwood, 21738: 
Howard County Public School System, 2600 block of Route 97, Aug. 17-18 overnight 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the property by cutting the fence and stealing landscaping equipment. 

Residential burglary
Elkridge, 21075: 
6600 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 14-17 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking a window. Nothing was reported stolen.
