SILVER SPRING, MD – Police are investigating a smash and grab robbery at a jewelry store in Silver Spring back in July. This week, police released video camera footage of the incident in hopes that the public can help them identify the suspects.

“The investigation by detectives determined that at approximately 3:40 a.m., three unknown suspects used a sledgehammer to break the front door of the Watch Pocket store and enter the business. Once inside, the suspects used the sledgehammer to break the glass display cases and steal an undisclosed amount of jewelry and watches,” police said.

The suspects are described by police as, “Three unknown race males, eighteen to thirty-five-years old. All three suspects were wearing face masks and two were wearing gloves.”

Two of the suspects were wearing gray and black clothing. The third suspect was wearing a green long sleeve shirt, black pants and brown Timberland-style boots.
