PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man is being sought by the Philadelphia Police Department after being identified as a suspect in multiple sexual assault cases across the city.
According to the Philadelphia, Police Department, on Saturday at approximately 12pm, 9th District officers responded to 19th and Market to meet a 20-year-old-female victim, in reference to a prior assault.
“The victim reported that after exiting an eastbound Septa trolley, she was walking up steps to exit the Septa station when an unknown male sexually assaulted her. The suspect was then last seen walking east on Market Street from 19th Street,” police reported.
Septa Police investigated a similar assault that occurred at 1401 JFK West Plaza on August 3, 2022. The suspect was wearing the same hooded sweatshirt and had followed a 17-year-old-female victim to a trolley stop.
