Baltimore Police Arrest Stabbing Suspect

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -The Baltimore Police Department has made an arrest in the stabbing of a man in Southwest Maryland last month. This incident happened on the 3700 Block of Cranston Avenue.

According to detectives, “On June 25, 2022, at approximately 10:40 a.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault in the 3700 block of Cranston Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was suffering from stab wounds to his chest. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where he was treated for his injuries”

Detectives in the southwest district were investigating the stabbing, and identified the suspect. 29-year-old Eric Townes was arrested at his home in Odenton Maryland yesterday morning. He was brought to Central Booking where he was charged with 1st Degree Attempted Murder and other weapons charges.
