BUFFALO, NY – A Buffalo man who goes by the name Uncle Cash has been found guilty by a jury of one count of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child.
28-year-old Mohamed Nasir, also known as “Cash” or “Uncle Cash,” was convicted of the highest sustainable charge, and was acquitted of all other counts in the indictment against him.
Jurors rendered their decision this afternoon after less than three hours of deliberation following a three-day trial.
“Between on or about December 22, 2020 and December 24, 2020, the defendant, being older than 18-years-old, engaged in sexual conduct with a child who was less than 11-years-old. The crime occurred at a residence in the City of Buffalo. The defendant was known to the victim,” the Erie County Prosecutor’s Office said. “Nasir faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. He continues to remain held without bail.”
