BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place yesterday afternoon. This incident happened on the 800 Block of Harlem Avenue in Central Baltimore.
Police say, “At approximately 4:34 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment. Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old male who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his left thigh. Central District shooting detectives responded out and have assumed control of the investigation. Preliminary information revealed the victim was standing in an alley in the 800 block of Harlem Avenue speaking to his friends. At that time, suspects approached and open fire on the victim. The victim was struck as he fled the scene. Detectives have not identified the suspects nor have they determine a motive.”
