New York City Thief Attempted to Rape Woman He Robbed

NEW YORK CITY, NJ – For this white male suspect, robbery wasn’t enough. New York City Police detectives have reported the unknown male attempted to rape a woman inside her apartment as he robbed her of her wallet. On Sunday, at 11:40 pm, in Manhattan, in the area of East 11th Street and 3rd Avenue, the man forcibly pushed the 23-year-old woman into her apartment, stole her wallet and attempted to rape her. Luckily, he was unsuccessful and fled. He was later captured on camera spending her money in a nearby bodega.
