LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – A brush fire on the Fourth of July near Vincent Clune Park in Lacey was extinguished before it was able to grow to the surrounding woods and neighbors thanks to a quick response by the Forked River Fire Department.

“Upon arrival, officers observed an area consisting of low brush actively burning on both sides of the road,” Chief Michael DiBella said. “The Forked River Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire.”
