Man Beaten in New York City Subway Station for His Phone

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has reported a 49-year-old man was beaten by an unknown black male with a beard, wearing a red neck gaiter, white t-shirt and white shorts. The incident happened Sunday on the southbound I train on the platform at Broadway and West 225th Street in the Bronx.

At around 6 am, the suspect approached the victim and repeatedly punched the man, taking his phone.
