Second Suspect Arrested in Devin Freeman Murder Case

BROOKLYN, MD -A second suspect was arrested for the February 27th murder of Devin Freeman in Brooklyn, the Anne Arundel Police Department said in a statement today.

In March, police arrested 18-year-old Jaden Crowner as a suspect in the murder case.

Today, police announced a second suspect, identified as 18-year-old Devin Garrett Twigg, has been arrested and charged with the murder of Devin Freeman.

According to police reports, on February 27, at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers responded to 4001 Ritchie Highway for a body located behind the business. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male with apparent trauma to his body.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on Mr. Freeman and determined his cause of death as gunshot wound(s), with the manner being homicide.
