OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Monmouth) – Two Howell men were arrested and charged for drug possession during a motor vehicle stop on Route 66 last Wednesday.
According to police, at approximately 9:30 pm Officer Richards observed a vehicle commit several motor vehicle violations while traveling on Rt. 66.
“Officer Richards conducted a motor vehicle stop of the vehicle on Rt. 18 and identified the occupants as Donald Simcsuk and Rocco Bousanti, both 54-years-old. During his on scene investigation, Officer Richards asked the occupants to step out of the vehicle so he could speak with them further. When Simcsuk exited the vehicle, several decks of heroin and a glass crack pipe fell to the ground,” police reported. “Both subjects were immediately detained and the evidence was recovered. A search of the vehicle revealed more drug paraphernalia and Bousanti was found to be in possession of a prescription narcotic without a valid prescription. Both Simcsuk and Bousanti were placed under arrest and transported to HQ.”
Donald Simcsuk was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also issued several motor vehicle summonses. Rocco Bousanti was charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Buprenorphine Hydrochloride and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were processed accordingly and released on criminal summonses pending a future court appearance.
