SEVERN, MD – Armed carjackers were kind enough on Thursday to allow a victim to get their child out of the back seat of the car while pointing guns at them before stealing the car and fleeing.

Police said on Thursday, at 11:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a carjacking in the 8000 block of Telegraph Road in Severn.

“As the victim pulled into his driveway, four suspects approached wearing ski masks and all dark clothing. At least two suspects were armed with handguns; they banged on the victim’s vehicle and ordered him to get out of the car,” police said. “The suspects allowed the victim to get his small child out of the backseat before they got into the car and fled South on Telegraph Road.”

Police are now searching for a baby blue BMW M3 with Maryland tag 2ET7289.
