Man Critically Injured in Southeast, D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place on May 10th. This incident happened on the 2900 Block of Martin Luther King Junior Avenue in Southeast, D.C.. The police is asking for assistance to identify the suspect.

According to detectives, “At approximately 9:18 pm, the victim approached a member of the Seventh District at the listed location. The victim, an adult male was suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.”

Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
