HANOVER, MD – On May 14, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers responded for a robbery of a citizen that occurred in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Blvd in Hanover. The victims were approached several times by the suspects while walking in and around the Arundel Hills mall.
Police say all three suspects were described as black juveniles.
Once the victims realized the suspects were following them, they began running, with the suspects chasing them. The suspects caught up to the victims, and one of the suspects punched one of the victims in the head and took their property. The suspect showed the victim a handgun inside a backpack and threatened to shoot the victim if they said anything.
The second victim was punched, pushed to the ground, and their property was taken. The suspects then fled the area on foot. Western District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
