Police Offer $25,000 Reward for Glenarden Murder Suspect

SEVERN, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department working to determine who fatally shot a man Sunday evening. The victim is 32-year-old Melvin Love Jr. of Severn. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

“On May 15, 2022, at approximately 7:00 pm, officers responded to the 3200 block of Reed Street for a shooting in the unincorporated section of Glenarden. The victim was located on a sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene,” the department said. “Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and determine a motive.”
