Man Sitting in Car Shot and Killed in Burlington

BURLINGTON, NJ – A man sitting in his car early Thursday morning in Burlington was shot and killed, police reported on Thursday. According to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and City of Burlington Police Chief John Fin, a 40-year-old Willingboro man was shot and killed early this morning while sitting in a vehicle that was parked on a City of Burlington street.

The incident happened at the 500 block of Linden Avenue at around 3 a.m. Police arrived on the scene to find Dominick Santiago sitting in the front seat of his SUV. Santiago was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead later at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
