WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place on May 13th. This incident happened on the 3700 block of 14th Street in Northwest D.C. This is being investigated by the Homicide Branch of the Police Department.
According to detectives, “At approximately 1:43 am, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim, on a Metro bus, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC FEMS members transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead. The decedent’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.”
