Philadelphia, PA – Police in Philadelphia are investigating multiple sexual assaults that occurred within the city and believe the two incidents are related.
On March 15, at 5:00 a.m., a 35-year-old old female was walking in the area of Whitaker and Erie Ave when an unknown black male driving a black-colored car drove the victim to a remote area where he produced a handgun and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect in that assault was described by the victim as a black male, 28-35 years of age, 210-233 lbs., wearing all black clothing, a white fanny pack, driving a black-colored car, and armed with a black handgun.
Then, on April 5, at 5:15 a.m., another victim, a 28-year-old female, was leaving a convenience store located at 3505 Kensington Avenue when she was approached by an unknown black male in a dark grey Dodge Charger with a covered tag forced the victim into his car, drove to the area of 4000 Orchard Street where he sexually assaulted her before letting her out of the car on Torresdale Ave.
That suspect was described as a black male, 20 years-of-age, heavyset, light complexion, and armed black handgun.
A third incident took place on April 21st at 1 a.m. when a 29-year-old female, was in the area of Kensington Ave and Huntingdon Street when she was approached by an unknown black male driving a silver sedan offering the victim a ride and she accepted.
He then drove to the area of 2600 Kensington Ave where he produced a handgun, forced the victim into the back seat of the vehicle, and sexually assaulted her. The offender robbed the victim of her iPhone 11 before dropping her off on Broad Street.
Again, the suspect was described as a black male, 5’8″, wearing a burgundy hooded sweatshirt, heavyset and armed black handgun. The suspect was reportedly driving a charcoal gray Dodge Charger four-door sedan, 2016 to 2020 with tinted windows and distinct rims.
