State Troopers Roll Up their Sleeves to Clean Up Camden Park and Neighborhood

CAMDEN, NJ – For troopers of the New Jersey State Police, policing goes beyond wearing a badge and keeping communities safe. Now, they’re also keeping communities clean.

“Recently, a contingent of New Jersey State Troopers along with the City of Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen, the United States Navy USS New Jersey, SSN-796, submariners, members of the Camden County Police Department and community volunteers partnered to help clean up Alberta Woods Park in Camden,” the NJSP said in a statement today. “Participants helped clean up Alberta Woods Park and surrounding areas within Camden in coordination with Navy Week in New Jersey.”

Navy Weeks are a series of outreach events geared towards given residents an opportunity to learn about the Navy, its members, and it’s importance to our great nation, the NJSP added.
