Blackwood, NJ – A drunk driver crashed into the side of a home in Gloucester Township on Saturday, according to police. The incident happened at around 3:17 pm on Douglas
On 5/7/22, at approximately 3:17 AM, Gloucester Township Police responded to Douglas Avenue in Blackwood for a reported vehicle into a residence.
“The driver, later identified as Timothy Brown had struck another vehicle, which caused this vehicle to careen off the road and crash into the side of a residence,” the Gloucester Township Police Department said in a statement today. “The second driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to Jefferson Stratford Hospital for treatment.”
Brown was arrested at the scene for Driving While Intoxicated and Assault by Auto and transported to headquarters for processing. He was later released on a Complaint-Summons and motor vehicle summonses pending a court appearance in accordance with the New Jersey Bail Reform Act.
