Shot Spotter Alerts Baltimore Police to Man Who Was Shot And Killed

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide which took place on April 19th in Southern Baltimore. This incident took place on the 1800 Block of Ramsey Street. Shot Spotter alerted the police to that location.

According to investigators, “At approximately 8:19 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Ramsey Street for a shot spotter alert. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who had been shot in his chest, in the 300 block of S. Monroe Street. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. Detectives have learned the victim was shot in the 1800 block of Ramsey Street and then ran to S. Monroe Street where he collapsed.”
