TOMS RIVER – The Ocean County Library is hosting a virtual tour of the new Field of Dreams playground at this year’s Ocean County Library Tourism Resources Fair in May.
The Ocean County Library Issued the Following Statement:
The state-of-the-art recreation complex, especially for special-needs individuals is opening in Toms River. Tour the Field of Dreams in a virtual program 7 PM Thursday, May 12, as part of the Ocean County Library’s 2022 Autism Resources Fair.
“Field of Dreams, the only recreational site of its kind in New Jersey, serves to benefit residents of Toms River and surrounding communities. Its founder, Christian Kane, will host the video tour, created by students with autism at Toms River High School East,” the OCL said. “The complex includes an all-inclusive, wheelchair-accessible playground; baseball field; mini-golf course; basketball, bocce and shuffleboard courts; rehabilitative fitness stations; temperature-controlled pavilion; complementary snack shack; and much more.”

Registration at www.theoceancountylibrary.org/events is required for this free program. Registrants will receive links by email. A recording of the program will be available for viewing at a later date on OCL’s YouTube channel.
