East Brunswick Teens Intentionally Set Home on Fire, Police

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – An investigation into a fire at a home under construction in East Brunswick on Thursday has been deemed arson and now police are searching for a pair of teens who were seen entering the home shortly before the fire.

On Thursday, at approximately 2:20 pm, the East Brunswick Fire Department responded to a fire in a home under construction.

“The fire investigation revealed the fire had been intentionally set. Further investigation identified two possible persons of interest who had entered the house shortly before the fire was started,” the department said in a release. “The same two subjects were seen running away from the scene soon after the fire had been reported. The subjects appear to be two white males, approximately 14 to 16 years of age.”
