MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Raycoldo Brandon Jr., 23, of Washington DC, was arrested and charged by the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Community Action Team, for possession of a firearm and controlled dangerous substances.
Officers were patrolling the Glenmont Shopping Center on March 15, 2022 at 10 pm when they conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 white Mercedes Benz with an expired registration. A strong odor of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle when officers approached. A search of the vehicle, driven by Brandon, revealed oxycodone, marijuana, a Ruger AR556 pistol which was converted to fire 9mm rounds, and an extended magazine.
This is an active, ongoing investigation.
