CAMBRIDGE, MD – A Cambridge man was arrested in Dover, Delaware, wanted for a murder he committed in 2020 in Cambridge.

According to the Cambridge Police Department, early Saturday morning, Ryshon Kelly, 23 of Cambridge was arrested in Dover, Delaware.

“Kelly was served with an arrest warrant charging him with 1st-degree murder and other related charges in the stabbing death of the victim, Roderick Russ,” the department said. “This incident occurred back in October of 2020. The Cambridge Police Department would like to thank the Maryland State Apprehension Team, the U.S Marshalls Fugitive Task Force, and Dover P.D for all the hard work in helping locate, and arrest Kelly who has been on the run for the past 17 months. We would also like to thank the concerned citizens for their efforts as well. “

Kelly is currently being held in the Kent County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Maryland.
