COLUMBUS, OH – A man who was shot in the chest on his way to the local Turkey Hill store in his neighborhood was shot in the chest and rushed to the hospital.
On February 8, 2022, at 11 pm, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to 100 block of Clifton Ct. on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they observed the 24-year-old victim with one gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim stated that he was walking to Turkey Hill when a group of four males who were walking ahead of him, turned around and started to shoot at him before fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported to Grant Hospital in critical condition. He’s expected to recover from his injuries.
