BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On January 17, 2022, at approximately 11:34 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the the intersection of North Franklintown Road and Winans Way to investigate a reports of gunfire heard in the area. When officers arrived at the location they observed a 23-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Homicide detectives assumed control over the investigation.
