TULSA, OK – On Wednesday, at 6:00 pm a shooting call was dispatched at Parkview Terrace Apartments in the area of 5948 S. Santa Fe Ave. Multiple people called us advising they heard numerous gunshots and that a male victim was down in the complex.
First Responders arrived to find the 13-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6:46 pm.
Patrol officers and Detectives canvassed the area and spoke to multiple witnesses.
Apparently, there was a verbal altercation at the location between a group of people who knew each other. When the verbal altercation became heated the suspect pulled a gun and fired at the victim striking him multiple times.
We have a strong lead on the suspect in this case and we expect an arrest to be made soon.
