ATLANTA, GA – The Atlanta Braves are heading to the World Series and it’s a double whammy for America’s woke far left cancel culture crowd.
The woke leadership of Major League Baseball got a wake-up call Saturday night when the Atlanta Braves defeated the Houston Astros to advance to the 2021 World Series.
If you remember, back in June, Major League Baseball punished the city of Atlanta after state politicians announced a sweeping voting reform that the progressive left deemed racist. President Joe Biden called the sweeping voting reform “Jim Crow” and “Jim Eagle”.
The All-Star game was eventually moved to Colorado, but now, the showcase of the 2021 Major League Baseball will be held in Atlanta and there’s nothing the woke MLB leadership and Commissioner Rob Manfred can do about it.
The Astros will get home-field advantage and that means 3 out of the 7 possible games in the World Series will be played at Atlanta’s Truist Park.
To make matters worse for cancel culture and the far left, the Braves, whose mascot is an Indian with red face will be displayed prominently during the series, accompanied by a stadium full of Braves fans doing the Tomahawk chop.
The move to disallow Atlanta to host the All-Star game was aided by leftwing Democrat Stacey Abrams.
“While Stacey Abrams and the MLB stole the All-Star Game from hardworking Georgians, the Braves earned their trip to the World Series this season and are bringing it home to Georgia,” Governor Brian Kemp said
