WEST PALM BEACH, FL – At approximately 2:10 am WPBPD officers responded to the 800 block of Sunset Rd in reference to a male armed with a knife attempting to break into a residence. Officers responded and began to talk to the suspect. The armed suspect lunged at officers with a knife. One officer shot the suspect. The investigation has been turned over to FDLE.
