In a disturbing bombshell report by Fox News today, the NJEA is being accused of keeping tabs on the conversations between teachers, parents and students when it comes to COVID-19. They are using a progressive political campaign app REACH to track those conversations. Reach was developed as a grassroots campaign app for New York Congresswoman Sandy Cortez.

Today, Shore News Network has obtained the training material and conversations presented by the NJEA to its teachers and in one communication, the NJEA instructs teachers to tell students they can get back to being kids again once everyone is vaccinated.

“If a student approaches you with vaccine questions, empathize and relate to them on share experiences (i.e. the difficulty of remote school) and let them know that as their teacher, you want to help them and their classmates get back to normal and back to being kids again,” the NJEA instructed its teachers. “Make sure they know that they are eligible as long as they are 12 or older and that vaccines are free.”

Teachers were instructed to encourage their students to ask their parents to take them to get vaccinated.

“If their parents/guardians are too busy to take them to vaccine appointments, work with them to come up with potential solutions to bring their families,” the training material said. “If grocery stores or pharmacies are offering vaccinations, maybe they can go next time they go grocery shopping or pick up prescriptions. Encourage them to come up with options based on the family’s schedule and bring those suggestions home.”

They were then encouraged to log those conversations on the Reach app.

The NEA is offering teachers a financial incentive to encourage their students to get vaccinated. 500 of the NEA’s top performers will receive $50 Target gift cards.
