Body found in Gloucester Creek, police report accidental drowning, no foul play
Gloucester City, N.J. – A deceased male was pulled from Little Timber Creek in Gloucester City Monday afternoon, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Gloucester City Police Chief Brian Morrell. Officers responded to the 600 block of Broadway at approximately 2:14 p.m. after train operators spotted a body in the water. Officers located the body of a 66-year-old male floating face down in the creek. Marine unit members from the Westville and Bellmawr Fire Departments retrieved the body from the water.
