RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician University Department of Athletics has tapped two internal candidates to fill full-time positions, Director of Athletics Ben “JR” DiNallo has announced. DiNallo has appointed Nicole Aumack ’20 of Brick as Felician’s Director of NCAA Compliance and Senior Woman Administrator and has named Jack Wilson of Freehold the Coordinator of Club Sports, Intramurals and Recruiting.
“We are happy to add these two young professionals to our full-time staff,” DiNallo said. “As one of our recent student-athletes, I expect that Nicole will have a good feel for the needs of our current athletes and serve them well. Jack is an energetic guy and I’m excited to see how he will revitalize our intramural program.”
In her new role, Aumack is responsible for certifying initial and continuing eligibility for Felician’s approximately 300 student-athletes. She will also coordinate academic monitoring, including overseeing athlete study halls.
A 2016 graduate of Brick Township High School, Aumack earned a B.S. degree in secondary English education/special education from Felician in 2020 and is pursuing a M.Ed. in English as a second language. She spent the 2020-21 academic year as a graduate assistant in the University’s Office of Residence Life. A two-time all-East Coast Conference selection in women’s bowling, she was the 2020 Felician Senior Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
Wilson is tasked with revamping Felician’s intramural offerings coming out of the COVID-19 public health crisis and exploring new opportunities for club sports. Additionally, he will serve as the athletics department’s liaison with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Wilson was promoted from his part-time position as the Golden Falcons’ assistant men’s lacrosse coach. In addition to his new responsibilities, he will continue in that role as well as serve a volunteer women’s lacrosse assistant.
Wilson earned a B.A. in history from Georgian Court University in 2018 after playing for the first two men’s lacrosse teams in Lions history. He came to Felician in August 2020 after two years on the men’s lacrosse staff at Curry College. Wilson is a 2013 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft.
The 26th season of Felician athletics will kick off on Thursday, September 2, when the women’s and men’s soccer teams host East Stroudsburg University at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively, at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.
