COLUMBUS, OH – On June 15, 2021, at 10:25 pm, officers responded to 1435 S. Hamilton Rd. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, 33-year-old Raheem Ewing, suffering from a single gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
The victim stated that an unknown black male shot him as he was trying to leave the bar. The victim said that he doesn’t know why the suspect shot him and he had no prior contact with the suspect. The victim was transported to Mt. Careml East Hospital in critical condition, but was upgraded to stable and is expected to survive his injuries.
