MORRISTOWN, FL – Multiple deputies were on the scene of a shooting investigation at 291 NE Hwy 41 south of Williston in the Morristown area. The gunman is identified as Adam Scott (39 years old) who fled the scene in foot. Deputies are actively searching for him and are utilizing tracking dogs and a helicopter. Adam Scott was last seen wearing dark long pants and a gray Tshirt.
He is 5-11” 155 lbs with short red hair and blue eyes. This is an on-going investigation and Scott is considered armed and dangerous. Avoid this area. Anyone who sees any suspicious people in the general location described above please call 911.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at his home and when they arrived, he began firing a gun at them.
