Three dead including child in shooting a Palm Bay Beach Publix

PALM BAY BEACH, FL – Deputies responded to a shooting inside Publix in the 1100 block of Royal Palm Beach Blvd, RPB. Upon arrival deputies located three individuals deceased from gunshot wounds, one adult male, one adult female and one child. The shooter is one of the deceased.

“Our thoughts are with those who are impacted by this tragedy,” Publix said in a statement. “We are cooperating with the local law enforcement. Since this is an active police investigation, we cannot confirm any additional details.”

Later in the day in an unrelated incident, Palm Bay deputies responded to a shooting in West Palm Beach to the east.

Around 1:42pm today, Deputies responded to a shooting in the 4900 block of Haverhill Commons, WPB. Upon arrival, deputies located a juvenile suffering from gunshot wound(s). The shooter was immediately identified and taken into custody. There is NO threat to the community. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
