Good Samaritan Saves Baby Kitten

Good Samaritan Saves Baby Kitten

Associated Humane Societies & Popcorn Park – He was found by a good Samaritan who brought the young kitten to the Sayreville Police Station. The Associated Humane Societies immediately dispatched an ambulance to rescue the kitten. He was given a thorough examination and found to have a grade 3 heart murmur. Thankfully, a vet tech has been fostering “Andrew” and a veterinarian at the Freehold Animal Hospital agreed to do an EKG for a reduced rate.

Andrew will be available for adoption after the results of the examination. Donations are needed to help with Andrew and the many dogs and cats in need of care. Our Res-Q Fund is always needed to help with the medical treatment for those that come arrive. The AHS has an open door policy and Andrew’s little heart needs help.

For more information on Andrew, call AHS at 732-922-0100 or you can email us and refer to Tag 26679. The Society is open 7 days a week. Stop in and meet many, many more adorable cats waiting for adoption.
