If you could ask George Floyd if he was willing to sacrifice his life for a political movement, we’re pretty sure his answer would be no. George Floyd didn’t want to die. He didn’t want to get murdered by Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin, but because he did, people like Nancy Pelosi now have a political platform. They have a medium they can use to pander to minority voters.
After all, it was just one man’s death who gave the Democrat Party such a boost in the 2020 Presidential election. And for that, she thanked him. She thanked him for dying and she thanked him for crying out to his mom for help as died at the hands of a police officer.
“Thank you George Floyd for sacrificing your life for justice,” Pelosi said.
